In Memory of SugarCookie...
"Gotcha Day" March 31st, 2001- June 29th, 2004
SugarCookie came into my life on the last day of March in 2001, my sixth grade year. Something about the tiny little rabbit with baby blue eyes caught my attention as soon as I walked into the rabbitry, and I knew she was the one. She was my first real "me" pet, and there was an instant bond between us. I quickly fell in love with my first bunny, and was devastated when she left us after a short three years. But as everyone knows, a first pet is always special and their memory lasts forever. I dedicate my rabbitry to Cookie, the bunny that started it all, and I am still thankful for the years she gave me that have turned my love of rabbits into Oak Ridge.
So here's to Cookie, the beginning and reason to everything rabbit in my life, the rabbit that began it all...
